Operations Training for Lodging & Hospitality Professionals

November 6 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
$149
Operations Training: Your Roadmap to Operational Excellence - For Lodging & Hospitality Professionals Co-hosted by ETI Solutions and Discover Freedom

Operations Training: Your Roadmap to Operational Excellence is an interactive half-day event for the people who keep lodging operations running every day.

This training is designed for professionals working in vacation rentals, hotels, resorts, apartment communities, and other lodging businesses. Attendees may include property managers, operations managers, housekeeping managers, maintenance professionals, cleaners, inspectors, supervisors, team leads, owners, and others responsible for the people, processes, properties, and guest experience.

And you do not need a certain title or number of years in the industry to belong in the room. You might be a new employee learning the ropes, a front-line team member who knows the properties better than anyone, a manager leading a department, or an experienced operator looking for a better way to solve an old problem.

About the Operations Training

Whether you’re the maintenance tech who gets the call when something breaks, the cleaner making sure every detail is ready for the next guest, the inspector catching the things everyone else missed, or the operations manager trying to keep all the moving pieces moving in the same direction, this training was built with you in mind.

What to Expect

This won’t be four hours of sitting quietly while someone clicks through slides. This training will combine practical operations education, leadership development, interactive activities, group discussion, and real-world problem solving. We’ll explore the everyday challenges that affect how lodging businesses operate, from people and communication to processes, property care, consistency, and the experiences we create for guests.

Attendees will have opportunities to bring real challenges into the room and hear how other professionals are approaching similar situations. You may discover that another maintenance team has already solved the problem you’ve been fighting for six months. Or that a housekeeping manager across town has a process your team could adapt. Or you may be the person with the answer someone else has been looking for. That exchange is part of the point.

We want people talking, sharing, asking questions, challenging ideas, and learning from each other rather than spending the entire event listening to the people at the front of the room.

Why Attend?

Strong operations rarely come from one person having all the answers. They come from good people communicating well, building useful processes, solving problems together, and understanding how their piece of the operation affects everyone else.

Attendees can expect to leave with new ideas, practical tools, stronger leadership skills, and a better understanding of how different parts of an operation work together.

You’ll have the chance to:

  • Work through real operational challenges with other lodging professionals
  • Learn practical approaches you can take back to your properties and team
  • Strengthen communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Hear what is working for people in different roles and different types of lodging operations
  • Participate in hands-on activities designed to make the learning useful and memorable
  • Step outside your normal day-to-day environment and look at your operation from a different perspective

The goal isn’t to tell everyone there is one “right” way to run an operation. It’s to put smart people who understand the work in the same room, give them useful tools and education, and create the kind of conversations that make everyone better when they go back to work.

People. Processes. Property Care. 5-Star Experiences.

That’s our motto.

Meet Your Presenters

This training is co-presented by Sean Kemper of ETI Solutions and Brittany Blackman of Discover Freedom, bringing together two different sides of strong operations: the work happening inside the property and the people responsible for making it all happen.

Discover Freedom

Brittany is a leadership and executive coach with nearly two decades of experience in hospitality and service, including years leading vacation rental operations. Through Discover Freedom, she works with leaders and teams to strengthen self-awareness, communication, accountability, leadership, and the people systems behind a successful operation.

Decades of Experience, Proven Results

With over 20 years in the cleaning and sanitation industry, ETI Solutions understands the unique challenges vacation rental managers face. Unlike large hotel chains with dedicated housekeeping departments, short-term rental managers must juggle multiple roles — often without a structured cleaning program in place.

That’s where ETI excels. Our team doesn’t just provide products — we analyze your current processes, recommend tailored solutions, and implement a customized cleaning program that fits your business. Plus, we train your staff to ensure they know exactly how to use each product effectively for consistent, spotless results.

Learning That Gives Back

We’re also excited to welcome A Bed 4 Me , a local nonprofit, as part of the event. A portion of the proceeds from Operations Training will be donated to A Bed 4 Me, and attendees will have another way to support their work while having a little fun along the way.

Bring any of the following items to receive raffle tickets:

  • Standard-size pillows
  • Twin-size, solid-color sheet sets in pink, purple, red, yellow, orange, blue, or black
  • Please, no white sheets

Bring an item, grab your raffle tickets, and help us support an organization doing important work right here in our local community.

Registration is required and is $149 per person, with discounted pricing available for teams of 3 or more from the same organization. Even better, a portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to A Bed 4 Me, a local nonprofit doing meaningful work right here in our community.
